Our executive chef Paul Wright is a southern California native whose appreciation for good food and family began at an early age. Paul is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco. While attending the C.C.A, he was able to work under the direction of Chef Almir Da Fonseca who is now an instructor, restaurateur and consultant. After working for Ashley Quick at Andrew Chadwick’s, Paul joined Eastland Café as the sous chef and has been with the Eastland family for the past 10 years. Chef Paul has a passion for creating uncomplicated dishes that allow the local and seasonal ingredients to speak for themselves. Chef Paul is looking forward to sharing his passion for good food with the great community here in east Nashville.
